Dāo 道 – Part 5

人之所教，我亦教之 Rén zhī suǒ jiào, wǒ yì jiàozhī – People should learn this, it is what I teach.

This is what Lǎozi 老子 wrote. It means that people should learn about Dāo 道. Dāo is nature, from one to two, two to three, this is Dāo. When the way is right, then one to two, two to three and three to everything, so everything is right. However, if the way, the Dāo is not right, then one will not grow into two, and if there is not two, then will not grow into three and no others. It is the same with Yin inside and Yang outside, this is Dāo. The high position should be more humble, more restricted, this is Dāo as well. Not everyone can be a good leader. There are many leaders in the world, but how many of them are good and bring benefit to others? We all need to learn and this is Dāo.

強梁者不得其死，吾將以為教父 Qiang liáng zhě bùdé qí sǐ, wú jiāng yǐwéi jiàofù – Aggression and bullying will not end well. This is what we should know.” Aggression and bullying are against Dāo. Forcing people to make them follow is not natural and so is against Dāo. The right way is to let the people find a good leader and then they will follow him or her. This is Dāo and this we should know.
