King’s Sickness Pt8

The next day the King’s Guard went and summoned the Daoist to see the King. The Daoist had just finished his Qìgōng 氣功 practice and went to the palace so see the King. The King said to him, “Daoist, you healed my illness and I appreciate and thank you for this, but you are too powerful and so I am also afraid of you! I worry that one day you will use your power to kill me and I cannot let this happen! Guards arrest him!” The King’s guards immediately grabbed hold of the Daoist so that he could not move. However, the Daoist remained calm and said, “Your Majesty, you do not need to worry about this. All my power, my Qì 氣 is only used for good deeds and cannot be used to harm people, otherwise I would suffer for it. This is the rule of nature and Qì. If your heart is not right, then you cannot develop this powerful Qì.” The King suddenly felt bad and looked at the Daoist. The Daoist looked like a good person. Suddenly the Senior Advisor shouted, “I do not believe this! You must have to harm our King! Guards put him in prison!”
