Levels of Qì Development – Part 9

When we have reached a high level of Qi Development, we will know and sense things that are not only close to us, but also from far away and we may also see and sense things that are in the future. For example, we might be at home, but we can sense a close friend, who is far away, who is having a good time with their family, or has achieved something important that they wanted. On the other side, we might sense someone close to use has been hurt or has had an accident. You might even be able to sense an important world event. When these things happen, we can say that our Sky Eye is open. This is what allows us to sense these things, and we might also be able to even see them where other people cannot. One of my friends found herself running up and down her stairs, but she was actually in bed in her room, and her roommate was in the room with her. When she opened her eyes she found herself in bed. We can all experience something like this, but when we practise Qìgōng 氣功, we can feel and see these things, but we will also know where we are in the present, and so these things present no danger to us. I once saw a red squirrel running towards my chair and then it disappeared! Actually there are no red squirrels in the area where I was and so what I saw could be in a different time and place.
