9 Colours Qi Ball – Part 2

Our bodies have a lot of acupuncture points. There are 309 acupuncture points which are doubled on either side so that makes 618, then there are another 52 single acupuncture points in the channels, 50 acupuncture points are not belong to any channels, In total this makes 720 acupuncture points. There are 36 points that we commonly us in Qìgōng and if we are at a more advanced level, we will use 72 acupuncture points. It is hard to remember all of them, so to begin with, just remembering 36 points is good enough. However, in our practise, we will mainly focus on the Dāntiáns and the Xià Dāntián 下丹田 – Lower Dāntián, Zhōng Dāntián 中丹田 – Middle Dantian and Shàng Dāntián 上丹田 – Upper Dāntián. When practise we focus on the points it makes the Qi strong and the acupuncture points strong. The strongest of the acupuncture points are the Láo Gōng 勞宮 points on the palms and the Yǒng Quán 涌泉 points on the soles of the feet. We need to open these first, and so in the 9 Colour Rotating Qi Ball Gong we will use the Láo Gōng points and the Yǒng Quán points to create the first four Qi Balls.
