Five Elements People – Part 2

Some will ask, “why do we need those elements?” In the past, in China and all other countries, most people were farmers. This meant to live they watched and followed nature very closely and learn from it. They learned from nature what each day would be like that there were many kinds, in morning, noon, sunset, and evenings and so the temperature was different. It was the same with the years in four seasons and they also discovered the months, the sun, the moon, the stars and the directions were all connected. I am sure that people all over the world, from the west, the north and the south also discovered this, but whether they connected them with other aspects of life and followed this knowledge is another story. The Chinese farmers discovered that the mornings were warm, and the plants liked this. Noon was too hot, like fire and the sunset was cooler and made a chill. Their tools were made from metal and metal is cold. The evening was even colder like water, and water becomes ice. It was the same with the whole year, in the spring the plants grew, the summer was hot like fire, autumn is cooler like metal and winter was cold like ice or snow.
