9 Colours Qi Ball – Part 6

Once we have begun to practise Qìgōng 氣功, the first feeling Qì 氣 of thing we have is on the Láogōng 勞宮 points on our palms. This means the body has more Qì and this is why we can feel it. It is just like on pay day, when you check your bank account and find that it has more money than before. Then you know that you can use it. It is similar with Qì. When you feel the Qì in you palms, you have more Qì. When our Qì is weak, we will feel tired and cold and just want to keep the body warm. If we can feel the Qì on our palms, then we have more Qì and if we keep practising, then we will have even more. Then we will be able to feel the Xià Dāntián 下丹田 – Lower Dāntián, Zhōng Dāntián 中丹田 – Middle Dantian up to the Shàng Dāntián 上丹田 – Upper Dāntián.

When the Xià Dāntián 下丹田 is full we will feel stronger, alert, clear minded and even have some sexual feeling. When the Zhōng Dāntián 中丹田 is full, we will feel healthy, our lungs strong, have good appetite, sleep easily and the whole body will be in a good condition. When the Shàng Dāntián 上丹田 is full, we will be smarter, wiser, more enlightened, have more sense of those things around us, have more spiritual awareness and even healing ability.

The seven Qì balls give us these feeling and then we can start to develop the eighth and ninth Qì balls.
