The Eyes Pt 1

Qi Effects our Senses

Human beings all have six senses. These relate to the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind. The six senses are important to us and allow us to be aware of everything happening around us. If our senses are good, we are healthy. Practising Qigong makes us healthy and so makes our senses more acute because we have more Qi to support the body. Eyes is one of the senses, when we are tired, our eyes can become sore and eyesight unfocused, but when we have a good sleep and rest the eyesight become clear.
We need to have better vision so we can see things clearly whether they are far or near. A lot of people use their eyes whilst they are working on their computers, often working long hours, over use the eyes it will course their eyesight becomes weaker and deteriorates. If we can notice our eyes being affected before they grow weaker we can practise Qigong to make our eyes stronger in order to avoid weak eyes. Even if we already wear glasses we should still protect our eyes by practising Qigong
